Instant Pot Autumn Apple Crunch
Some proper Autumnal cooking going on in the Instant Pot today, finally used those apples from the tree to make some apple crunch, sorta tastes likes melted apple crumble and that's not a bad thing. would make a great desert with some cream or custard & a nice homemade breakfast without.
Ingredients
5 Medium cooking apples peeled, corked and chopped into 1 inch pieces
2 tsp Ground Nutmeg
2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
4 tbsp unsalted Butter, melted
1/2 cup or 100 m of Water
1 tbsp Maple Syrup
1/4 cup or 50 grams of Brown Sugar
1/4 cup or 50 grams of Plain Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
1 cup or 140 grams of Oats
Method
Lay out the Apples in the bottom of the Instant Pot
sprinkle on the Cinnamon and Nutmeg
Add the water and maple syrup
Melt the butter without burning in a saucepan
Add to the saucepan the Oats , Flour, Sugar and Salt
Spoon in blobs onto the Apples
