Instant Pot Seville Orange Marmalade

Finally got around to using the Marmalade making kit I bought from the veg supplier (basically a bag of oranges and two lemons....) Birthday presents sorted for the next year

Ingredients

1.5 kg Seville Oranges

2 kg Caster Sugar

2 Lemons Juiced

8 - 10 Jam Jars steralised

Method

Wash the oranges. Slice thinly, easiest way is with a Mandolin, watch your fingers!

Place sliced oranges and any juice in the Instant Pot

Add the Juice of the lemons and 2 cups of water

Manual/High Pressure for 12 Minutes and NPR

Set the pot to Saute and slowly added the sugar whilst stirring until it has all dissolved.

You must keep stirring! use a thermometre to check the temperature has reached 105C/225F to allow setting.

Fill your Jars leaving half an inch at the top and allow to cool. Enjoy

This made me around 8 500 ml Jars of marmalade
